Me, Myself and English

English, a medium language which is used in almost all countries all over the world, is the crucial thing for someone for some reason which depends on one's background and way of living.

For me, It is important as it's a pathway to achieve my goal in career. Moreover, its pronunciation is beautiful especially BBC English which induced me to study here.

For Thai people, the strongest part of them is reading because it is the part that we have been assigned to practice for the exams in every single level we are in. And the weakest parts seem to be the rest, writing, speaking and listening, since we don't have many chances to contact with foreigners except the people who are taught in English in their international college or people who work in the foreign company or who deal with foreign company.

I can barely say those parts used to be wack to me. The reason why I had been free from these problem is I had been using English all the time when I worked and I have kept practicing mine with my friends from other countries as well as my friends in London. Moreover, I took a speaking course so I have learnt the phonetics and the pronunciation; therefore, I have a very bit of British English.

Somehow, my speaking is troublesome for one point, grammar, since it is the two-way communication which needs to be responded simultaneously and mine usually be grammatically incorrect which I need to practice more and more. Besides, since English is not my first language, I therefore have  two steps to process for the sake of my listening, listening and translating. I found it out when I watched the film which there was no subtitle. But this doesn't matter for me as a conversation with others English speaker.

Finally, as it is widely said 'No Pain, No Gain', it's absolutely right. It doesn't mean jack if a non-English speaker knows English but doesn't practice, it will never be improved. There are several ways to do it just find it your way to get to know you, yourself and your English.
